Whilst filming our 2 minute sequence

Whilst filming our two minute sequence we came across some problems, that we didn't think would be an issue whilst planning.
The cast that we were planning on using, was not as easy to bring together, because of other lessons, and different timetables. we tried a number of times to bring our cast together but for different reasons they could not get out of their lesson. Our group from college was allowed to miss lesson as we got slips from our teacher, but the cast members that we used who did not do media could not get one of these, and so it was difficult for them. One of our main characters "Spike" played a large part in our play, and was also a large part in our planning, but because she could not miss any of her lessons, we where unable to get her into our filming. As she played a large part in this we had to re-think our filming, but we managed to film it so as it still made sense, and she was still referred in it.
Another thing that we had in our plan was the location, we was planning on going to Brighton to film a small section, but we did not manage to get this to go ahead as we planned a day to go, but due to other crews commitments we did not manage to go.
Although we came across some issues we managed to correct them and cover them up. I now know that if we were to do this again, we would have to plan more accurately and have the time in consideration, and perhaps make it more realistic, as it is difficult to organize when a group of people can all get time out of college.
